A couple of weeks ago we heard about the wonder of Mavala Stop. It helps kids stop sucking their thumbs. So we happily painted it on our kids' thumbnails and sat back to watch their reaction.
SUCCESS! They no longer suck their thumbs. Hooray! Hooray! Hooray!
Except that now Clara has no way of self-soothing and putting herself to sleep. Which means she is boycotting naps.

She needs a woobie! A really good woobie. Like maybe satin or that fuzzy cashmere stuff. Or maybe cotton to give it a good squeak.
really????????????? It works??????? Where do I buy it and how much is it? I have a 6 yea old you know very well that I cannot get to stop and I can't stand it!
She'll get used to it. When I took Kaleb's binky away he cried every time he napped. Still does a little. A little crying never hurt. And maybe that is how she is soothing herself.
This is why Little Man still has a pacifier.
