The 4th of July at Temple Square

After we went to the Church History Museum, we wandered around Temple Square.  It was completely empty, and extremely hot.  Josh couldn't find the matching flag shirt that I bought him.  The best laid plans...
I'm just glad they are willing to take pictures together.
 My other babies
It's not often that we get a family picture.  I'm just usually the one behind the camera.
I'm not sure they were supposed to be doing this.
They like to call each other brother and sister - all five of them.  I don't mind.
Because I feel like I have five kids.
The neighborhood came out to play with fireworks to celebrate Independence Day.

Church History Museum - Independence Day 2012

For the 4th of July we decided to go to downtown Salt Lake and visit the Church History Museum.  It was pretty empty, as everyone else in the state of Utah was at home bbq'ing.  We had a great time playing and just wandering around the museum.  We definitely want to go back often.

Neighborhood Block Party - Summer 2012

We try to have a neighborhood block party every summer.  This year we decided to have it the week of Independence Day.  We had a bike relay and with all of the kids a little bit older this year, there was a bit less stress with them running around.  We love our neighborhood!
